ChinaTown Arts Belt
In 1998, the upper storeys of eight buildings along Smith Street and two at Trengganu Street were acquired by the National Arts Council and conserved specially for the arts. Since then, these spaces have been allocated to arts groups that specialise in Cantonese Opera, Beijing Opera, Teochew Opera, music, theatre, calligraphy as well as literature. Arts groups housed in this area include the Chinese Theatre Circle and Toy Factory Theatre Ensemble.
Esplanade
Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay is without a doubt, Singapore's most exciting performance arts venue to date. Located at the waterfront overlooking Marina Bay, the complex with its distinctive dome-shaped roofs comprises a 1,600-seat concert hall, a 2,000-seat theatre and several recital rooms, theatre and rehearsal studios, as well as outdoor performing spaces.

Singapore Arts Festival

The two-week Arts marathon covers a wide spectrum of performance art, dance and music. Arts on the Move takes theatre beyond the confines of traditional performance venues, to parks, town centres and pedestrian malls. THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
